My Final Days...

This week holds my last few days at my PDS. It's bitter-sweet to be finishing up. I'm excited to be able to have my "college style" life again where I can sleep in, have free time, and little responsibilities. On the other hand, I am gonna miss the kids, teachers, and the interesting things that happen on a daily basis.I'm already starting to think of ways I can come back to this classroom next semester during my contract hours!
I have learned so much this semester and it seems to have just flown by. I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner. Finishing my internship means that the real world is just around the corner. I am beginning to prepare for my PLT and am starting to think about substituting next semester. I am growing up! Everything is moving very quickly and before I know it I'll be sitting at my graduation in May.
This week I am planning to spend my last few days enjoying my teacher, her team, and our students. As well as reflecting on my semester. Like my host teacher says, "I have learned what to do, and what not to do." I would definitely say that I have learned a lot of what to do, this semester through observation and personal experiences. This internship has given me a lot to reflect on and look forward to in the future.
